On Tuesday, March 19, 2024, Minister of Finance and Budget Adama Coulibaly and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) resident representative Wakabayashi Motoharu inked a 10 billion FCFA loan agreement aimed at bringing the project to completion.
"This loan, totaling approximately 10 billion FCFA, will ensure we can put the finishing touches on this critical project," Minister Coulibaly declared. "The Abidjan grain terminal will ensure a steady flow of essential foodstuffs, safeguarding food security for our people."
